The midsummer sun shining in a clear blue sky, warm air carrying the scents of summer. Everywhere, people are bubbling with energy and excitement, ready to take on something truly extraordinary—something fun, different, and unforgettable!
This is how one could describe the atmosphere near Põltsamaa on the day of another Pajusi Mud Run.
One video says more than 1000 words!
WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Pajusi Mud Run is a popular community sports event that grows in popularity every year. When we started in 2016, 187 enthusiastic and brave mud runners participated.
Word spread about the fantastic event, and by 2017, the number of participants almost doubled to 365. By 2018, the number of participants soared to 670.
In 2023, Pajusi Mud Run reached a record number of participants – 1202 people.
These numbers show that we are doing something that people truly enjoy! This, in turn, motivates us to organize each subsequent Pajusi Mud Run with great enthusiasm.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE MUD RUN?
In short: overcoming obstacles.
Participants will encounter a marked course full of various obstacles to overcome:
Climbing,
Walking,
Running,
Rolling,
Swimming,
Crawling,
Jumping,
Diving – however possible.
Does it sound crazy? Yes. Is it awesome? Absolutely!
It’s a full-power day in the diverse nature of Central Estonia, resulting in physical and mental exhaustion, but at the same time, a pleasant feeling of accomplishment from pushing oneself beyond limits.
You can participate individually or as a team. Separate tracks are available for kids.
In the last week before the event, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the Mud RunFB page, where rideshares are sought and offered. Take advantage of the opportunity and find a suitable carpool from among hundreds of visitors.
There are three options for washing: – Using garden hoses set up near the start/finish line. – In the pond located 300m away from the start/finish line. – In the Põltsamaa River, which is 350m away from the start/finish line.
Mud Run does not commit to buying back tickets. If necessary, we can transfer the ticket to another participant. Selling tickets as a post in the Mud Run group on FB works very well. The last day to change the name of the ticket owner is 30.06.
